      ENFORCING SERVER RULES
JAH has a clear policy when handling rule breakers. There are two categories for punishments: light infractions, and heavy infractions.

      Light Infractions
Consists of rule breaks such as: bad teamplay, corner glitching, using forbidden weapons, player insults etc

Each time a player is acted on by an admin or the plugin, the action is recorded in the admin control panel. Members can always check a player to decide what should be the appropriate punishment. When a player is acted on by the plugin, they will receive an infraction point. These points represent how often a player breaks a rule. Note, after a period of good behaviour a player will have infraction points removed.

      Light Infraction Policy:

      • 1st offence: !warn
      • 2nd offence: !kill
      • 3rd offence: !kick (!kill in low population)
      • 4th offence: !tban 1 hour (!kick in low population)
      • 5thoffence: !tban 2 hours
      • 6thoffence: !tban 1 day
      • 7th offence: !tban 2 days
      • 8th offence: !tban 1 week
      • 9th offence: !tban 1 month
      • 10th offence: !ban (permanent)

      Heavy Infractions
Consists of offences such as: Cheating (aimbots, wallhacks, macros etc), racist / fascist language, out of map glitching etc. These types of offences result in an instant permanent ban, pending a ban appeal.

      BANS, EVIDENCE AND APPEALS
Before issuing a ban, members must be sure the punishment is well deserved. We always encourage members to obtain evidence before issuing a permanent ban. This can greatly help when it comes to ban appeals and ensure that the ban was justified. There are many members who have a lot of experience when investigating suspicious behaviour.
If you are not sure, ask!

      • Members can only edit a ban they have placed unless they have permission!
      • Bans issued by the plugins can only be amended by the head / chief admins.
      • Head / chief admins reserve the right to amend any ban they see fit to. Especially if the banning admin is currently unreachable.
